Our company specializes in advanced construction technologies — we build houses using 3D printing. But no matter how innovative the technology is, it is powerless against the Russian shoulder season. Each project ran into the same issues:
- Downtime due to rain and early frosts.
- Financial losses when construction “went into winter” and it was impossible to work in frost or perform “wet works.”
- Organizational and financial losses with single-use heat tents: ordering, long assembly, costs, dismantling.
We searched for a shelter that would solve these problems once and for all: assembly in days, not weeks/months; sufficient dimensions for a large printer; mobility and reliability. We could not find a suitable solution on the market. As a result, two of our projects — a leisure capsule in Labytnangi and a rural health post (FAP) in Dubki settlement, Odintsovo urban district — were printed using a single-use heat-tent structure with heavy structural elements and a long production and assembly period.
By combining the experience of builders and engineers, we designed and tested our own fast-assembly, all-weather shelter. We implemented all the requirements we set for potential shelter contractors and considered every operating detail.
